#SUMMER
floating no where slowly
Nothing says July quite like floating aimlessly around Pearrygin Lake in 90 degree weather. This time last year, that same lake was offering it’s waters to fight the Cedar Creek AND Cub Creek fires. But NOT this year. Perfect sun and perfect skies with no fires in site are calling to you. So that you can do absolutely nothing slowly. I like it.
Methow Me Up! Floating on a HOT HOT July Day
You have a small window where the river is slow enough to float, but not too low. And the weather is hot enough for your feet and bottom to handle the glacially fed headwaters of the Methow. And I nailed it! No technical prowess or expensive gear needed. The river takes you as you are. Occasionally you may fall out of your raft or have to walk. This is why I live here!
